Child Renewal

Sixty (60) days before the expiry of a Residence Permit, the company sponsored employee is required to commence the renewal process of his/her Dependant Residence Visa.


Requirements

The following documents are required for submission at GSO’s Business Counter:


  • “Application for Dependant” duly filled
  • Original passport
  • Two (2) passport photocopies of applicant including visa page


  • Two (2) passport photocopies of the sponsor including visa page
  • Two (2) passport photocopies of the mother including visa page


  • Five (5) color photographs with white background, size 4.3cm x 5.5cm


  • The applicant’s passport must have a validity of at least six (6) months.


Important!


  • The Immigration Residence permit application will be typed by GSO and the sponsored employee may approach GSO’s Business Counter to sign the Immigration application form after two (2) working days from documents submission.
  • Institution/University letter stating course continuation is required for male above 18.
  • For female above eighteen, an undertaking letter from the sponsor stating that she is not married is required. 
  • A medical test appointment will be arranged by GSO for children above eighteen years after Dependant Residence Renewal documents submission. If the dependant is medically unfit, then GSO will notify the sponsored employee for immediate repatriation of the dependant.
  • If the applicant chooses to approach Gov. Clinics for medical test without GSO interface, he/she must submit the Medical Fitness Certificate along with the Residence Visa Stamping documents.
  • The Dependant Residence Visa is valid for three (3) years commencing from Residence Visa stamping date.
