Housemail Renewal

Thirty (30) days before Residence Permit expiry, the company sponsored employee must commence the renewal process of his/her Housemaid Residence Visa.


Requirements

The following documents are required for submission at GSO’s Business Counter:


  1. “Application for Dependant” duly filled
  2. Original passport
  3. Two (2) passport photocopies of applicant including visa page
  4. Two (2) passport photocopies of the sponsor including visa page
  5. Two (2) passport photocopies of the spouse with Residence Visa page. If sponsor’s wife is not sponsored by husband, original and photocopy of Attested Marriage Certificate from the Foreign Affairs in UAE is required
  6. Five (5) color photographs with white background, size 4.3cm x 5.5cm
  7. House Maid Contract
  8. The applicant’s passport must have a validity of at least six (6) months.


Important!



    • The Immigration Residence permit application will be typed by GSO and the sponsored employee may approach GSO’s Business Counter to sign the Immigration application form after two (2) working days from documents submission.
    • A medical test appointment will be arranged by GSO after Housemaid Residence Renewal documents submission. If the housemaid is medically unfit, then GSO will notify the sponsored employee for immediate repatriation of the housemaid.
    • If the applicant chooses to approach Gov. Clinics for medical test without GSO interface, he/she must submit the Medical Fitness Certificate along with the Residence Visa Stamping documents.
    •  The Housemaid Residence Visa is valid for one (1) year commencing from Renewed Residence Visa stamping date.
