Student Cancellation

The Residence Visa of a sponsored student must be cancelled upon the completion of the enrolment course/s.


Requirements

The following documents are required for submission at GSO’s Business Counter:



•     Original passport.
•     Original ID card.

Important!


  • A student with a cancelled visa must exit the country within thirty (30) days from the date of cancellation. However, if the Residence Permit is cancelled after its expiry, the student must leave the country immediately. To avoid daily overstay fines the student must exit the country within the stated period.
  • The Academics Partner is responsible for the student’s departure from the country, even after the cancellation of Residence Permit. Also, responsible for arranging the student’s transportation to the Airport and must obtain the exit form bearing the departure stamp from the Airport.
  • The original exit form bearing the departure stamp must be returned to GSO within two (2) days from the student’s departure. The University/Institute’s record will not be cleared until the student’s original exit form or a new visa photocopy is submitted to GSO’s Business Counter.
